Why it matters
A demonstration shared on X combines ADB screenshots, OCR message detection, Codex drafting, and ADB input. The engineering chain is understandable; the hard part is that one OCR, context, or tap error can send a reasonable reply to the wrong person.
What needs verification
Private chats contain identity, address, work, payment, and other sensitive data. Continuous polling and simulated actions also need to be checked against current WeChat rules. A demo cannot prove that the setup is safe or free from account enforcement.
A practical way to test
Start as a read-only reply assistant with a human send button. Exclude verification codes, transfers, contracts, medical content, and conflicts. If the project advances, restrict contacts, hours, and frequency, keep logs and an emergency stop, and define when the system must stay silent.
